Daily Bite: Indecision

Matt Gardner
Daily Bite

We've all been there.

I spent nearly an hour trying to decide what game to play the other day, an hour that eventually devolved into flicking aimlessly through Buzzfeed articles and GIFs before I realised the time and shouted WHAT THE F**K AM I DOING?! at my computer screen.

I've been trying to use the launch of new consoles to eliminate this kind of thing, only buying new games when I've actually finished the previous one

Of course, PS+ and highly tempting Tomb Raider misprices have other ideas...

I'm pretty sure this is akin to depression. I get it a lot with music when I am fed up. Some days, despite having tons of music, old and new, from almost every genre, some days, I can't think of what to listen to. Those are the days where no matter what you do, it will seem to have been the wrong choice.

On days where everything is amazing and going really well, you will happily listen to anything and whatever you pick is the right choice.

I get the same problem with games too, even with so many old favourites at hand and hundreds of never played games lying about some times I can't decide what to play. Generally I now either pick something and play it for a bit and change if I don't get in to it or do something other than gaming.

Internet procrastination seems to be a bit of a disease though. So easy to get swallowed up by it.
