Daily Bite: New Horizons

[UPDATE: Brendan is launching a new site soon over at GamesMoviesDeals.com. They're taking on some staff too, so take a look at how to apply.]

All good things must come to an end, and Dealspwn is no exception. We'll get right to the point - today is our last day of operation. While it is sad that we will be no more, there's no denying that we've had a fantastic run since we began in 2009. We've covered some utterly brilliant (and frankly terrible) games during that time, built up a fantastic community that has engaged and entertained us, and we saved you all a few pennies here and there.

Or sent out back the way of Old Yeller. I'm not sure how the internet actually works.

Anyway, a huge thanks to all of our previous writers over the years - Mario, Felix, Dave, Matt, Jon, Lydia, David, Tom, Josh, and Chris - as well as the HUKD crew who helped out throughout this year - Buzz, Gooner, Turkey, Neotrix, and FantasyDeals - and to the network itself for allowing the team to cover the industry we love. Last but by no means least, a huge thank you to you, our readers. Without your continued support, your points of view, and light-hearted abuse, we simply could not have existed. In short, it has been an absolute privilege.

You can follow the surviving Dealspwn staff Brendan and Carl on their Twitter feeds to find out what is next for them, but 2016 is a year of new horizons for us all. That also includes our beloved mascot Toby the Dealspwny, who was "born" to highlight how many people mispronounced the site's name. It's Deals Pwn, not Deal Spwn!

Although, funny story - an announcer once introduced Jon as "Jonathan Lester from DEALS PAWN", which sounded like Deals Porn at the time. It was hilarious.

Anyway, I guess all that's left to do is give you a few highlights from our time before we switch off the lights. Enjoy the highlights, and thanks for visiting!

WHY CRUEL WORLD!? I am most disappoint :( much like a lot of others here have highly regarded the views of you guys when it comes to reviews and the review format used on the site. Compared to other sites I always found it most useful.

Best of luck to all you guys who have worked on here, truly hope you do well for yourselves.

Noooooo, please don't leave us! This is my favourite gaming site that I've been reading most days for years now. Is there any reason in particular that you're closing the site other than just wanting to do something new? Whatever the reason, I wish everybody that is and has been associated with this site all the best in the future and I'm sure everyone will agree that you're going to be sadly missed.

Thanks for everything!

Blimey, I take a short break, and this is what happens!
Guys, it's been a pleasure reading your poorly punctuated and shamefully grammatically incorrect articles. The reviews weren't even terrible ;)
But seriously, as others have pointed out, this was probably the only site I valued the opinions of the reviewers, and enjoyed many of the comments from the community.

I wish you much luck with your future endeavors!

With the launch of the Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge, people have already started to look forward to the next flagship launch from Samsung, the Galaxy S8. But if rumors are to be believed, work has already started for the next installment of the Galaxy S series, the Galaxy S9. If you want to know more about the device, then you must check out my site Samsung Galaxy S9
