Some people are content with ambling around their everyday lives without a care in the world as they slowly watch the world go by, others like to be a bit more active and travel the world, then there are those that for some reason or another decide to jump down into the Nine Circles of Hell to hack and slash their way through the various demons that cross their path.

Having been adapted from a classic piece of literature, it won't surprise you that the story behind the game is pretty engrossing and packed full of intriguing characters.
The Circles of Hell are completely unique from one another, thanks largely to the exceptional artwork that's gone into their construction, and they mirror the sins of their wretched inhabitants, many of whom have become twisted distortions of their former selves.
Dante has a quite a few tricks up his sleeve when it comes to dealing with the various creatures that have taken a disliking to him, and these include Death's scythe for close encounters, The Holy Cross for ranged attacks, as well as a bit of magic and various relics.
When you're not carving your enemies into little pieces, you'll have to give your mind a bit of a workout by solving the various puzzles that crop up from time to time, which stand in the way of you progressing any further through the foul surroundings that you find yourself in.
If you're looking for a game with a decent plot and some awesome visuals, then look no further.
