Third person action adventure Darksiders has been reasonably well received and, like Bayonetta, Army of Two and Dark Void, is one of a plethora of newish games that are falling in price ridiculously quickly.
I recommend that you get your skates on though as, at this price, the game is likely to go out of stock pretty quickly.
Darksiders begins at the end ... of the world. Players take on the mantle of War, one of the Four Horsemen and member of the Charred Council who maintain the balance between Heaven and Hell and are charged with the task of ushering in the apocalypse when the time comes. Unfortunately for War the call comes a little early and he finds himself charged with the destruction of humanityand upsetting the balance between good and evil.
Combat is fast and fluid and very satisfying and the puzzles are just the right mix of challenging and fun. There's a big beautiful world to explore in a lengthy single player campaign. Though Darksiders comes on like some strange bastard child of God of War and The Legend of Zelda, it is a highly enjoyable romp that somehow manages to escape feeling derivative.
