Now Set For November
Originally set for late September, before a delay brought release closer to the end of October, Dead Island's much-anticipated DLC, the Bloodbath Arena, has now been rescheduled for mid-November. Developers Techland took to their official Facebook page to fill expectant fans in on the new release date, I wouldn't worry about further delays, with the team past whatever problems impeded them in the first place.
The Bloodbath Arena DLC adds four new maps to the game, where you must survive seemingly never-ending waves of the undead. I've yet to pick up Dead Island - mainly because I'm not as enamored with zombies as the rest of you, I much prefer ninja robots - but I must admit, a game which rewards incessant cranium pummeling via a baseball bat is worryingly attractive.
