Dead Island | £17.99 | Play, Amazon, Game & Gamestation | PS3 & Xbox 360

Ok, so this might not be the lowest price that this game has ever been, but I'd certainly fork over £17.99 for it, although that might be because I'm a massive zombie fan. This one's great fun to be a part of, especially when you're venturing around the island killing the undead with a friend. The price at any of the numerous merchants listed above should make you around a saving of £2 on the next best offers out there.

Dead Island | £7.98 | GamersGate | PC

Dead Island is one of last year's most divisive games, believe it or not. Some pundits and gamers went absolutely mad for it whereas others quickly ignored it out of hand as a repetitive slog.

We liked it, though, and just look at that juicy juicy price (1p cheaper than that gorgeous short-lived Steam deal). And you can register it on Steam. This deal keeps getting better all the time...

Dead Island | £7.99 | Steam | PC

Techland’s open world zombie FPS is part of this week’s Midweek Madness sale on Steam. The reduction brings the price down to one of the lowest we’ve seen for the PC version, as well as providing a saving of £6 over the next best retailer with stock.

It has to be said that this one is best played in co-op, although those looking to go solo will still have plenty to do over the tropical island resort of Banoi. With patches continuing to fix some of the more annoying bugs and balance issues, and the Bloodbath Arena DLC now out (for those wishing to spend a little more) now might be a fine time to start cracking some undead heads. Zombies, zombies, and more zombies! OK, so it's not just all about the undead, there are plenty of weapons too ranging from pointy stabbing implements all the way up to firearms. The game manages to build up loads of tension whilst you're creeping around the island, that is until you here a blood curdling scream heralding the arrival of the recently deceased at which point terror takes hold of you. Play are parting with PC copies of the game for £12.99, which should save you almost £2 on the next best offer coming in from ShopTo.

We’ve seen a lot of deals for the PC version as of late, but fear not console gamers. Play have unleashed a deal that puts the price at its lowest point yet, providing a saving of £3 for Xbox 360 owners and a fiver for PS3 owners.

We liked it, though, and reckon that Grainger Games' price is well worth a punt.

Dead Island | £12.99 | Amazon / Play | PC

The price for this one isn't as great as the deal from Green Man Gaming we highlighted last week, but Amazon and Play are currently the cheapest retailers for the PC version. There’s a saving of just under £2 over the next best price over at ShopTo.

Green Man Gaming have dropped the price of the PC version to the lowest point yet, allowing you to get the tropical zombie-fest for a tenner. It means there’s a saving of just under a fiver to be had over the next best offer over at ShopTo. It’s worth noting that you will be required to redeem a code in Steam to play this game.

Dead Island | £14.99 | Steam | PC

Today’s offer on Steam brings the PC version of Techland’s zombie game down to a rather tempting price point. As such there’s a saving of just under a fiver in comparison to the next best offer at Simply Games, but if you can find three other players you could do the co-op with you can make an even bigger saving. The 4-pack costs £44.98, which works out at £11.24 per person.

Dead Island | £17.99 | Play | Xbox 360 & PS3

Dead Island is great fun if you're looking to stroll around an island filled with the undead, who'll come shuffling towards you with murderous intent in their cold lifeless eyes. There are four characters to choose from, each of which have their own unique weapons preferences, so you'll have to decide whether you want to cave in heads with pipes or deliver a couple of crack shots. Play are parting with Xbox 360 and PS3 copies of the game for £17.99, which'll save you just over £6 on the 360 and £2 on the PS3. Thanks to leeds_united_afc @ HUKD.
