Dead Space 3 is out pretty darn soon, and EA have dropped a new trailer, set to a rather ethereal version of 'In The Air Tonight'. Considering the rather action-centric focus of this third instalment, we reckon they should have used the Nonpoint version.

Dead Space 3 launches in North America on February 5th, crossing the Atlantic to arrive here on February 8th.

I wish they'd stop showing Isaac's face.I felt a much better sense of immersion with the first game, with just the breathing noises. I'm not always a fan of the silent protagonist, but I think it's better if you're trying to inject some fear to your game.

I wish I could get excited for this. I really do. Loved DS 1 and 2. But everything I've seen thus far is just making me less and less eager.

It's also possible that all of my excitement is being/has been used up on DmC, NNK, Tomb Raider, TLoU, Bioshock Infinite, Sim City, Revengeance...

Agreed.

I wish I could get excited for this. I really do.

Also this is an incredibly lacklustre trailer compared to DS2

Which has just made me want to go out and buy the game even though I have, go home and play it...lol

Case in point. DS2 presents a new focus on action gameplay, trailer kicks off with Billy Corgan screeching "The world is a vampire".
