Co-Op Confirmed?

Usual suspects AGB have secured some screenshots for Dead Space 3, which seem to heavily feature Isaac and an omni-present partner. Since drop-in cooperative play has been rumoured for months, it's a strong possibility that the EA E3 press conference just lost yet another surprise. And it that some dual-weapon wielding I spy?

Here's hoping that Dead Space 3 can maintain the sense of threat and oppression while playing in co-op. Few games have managed to do that, notably not F.E.A.R. 3, which became a fairly traditional action game instead.
