Destiny Vidoc Reveals More Secrets

Destiny has revealed a few more of its secrets, courtesy of this new Silent Cartographer. I mean developer diary. Regardless, Bungie's new video discusses how they went about crafting a social FPS experience that still retains a strong storyline, the loot system, guns, customisation dynamic events and more.

And at a basic level, how "to make a world that people want to be in."

To say that we have 'high hopes' for Destiny would be an understatement, but since it's out in 2014, we'll have to wait and see whether it delivers.

I hate Bungies high and mighty attitude.

What on earth do they know about loot mechanics? And dynamic events? and anything else other than the Halo world?

They need to prove they are more than a one trick pony (to be honest, I hate ponies anyway) before I'll start to take them serious with comments like those.

PS Marathon doesn't count.

Would you like ponies more if they could do tricks, though?
It's the age old question.

@Anarchist: I was about to violently disagree about Marathon, but TBH so many key Bungie devs departed since then that it can't really be counted, you're right. After all, the whole Double Aught lot and Seropian don't work there any more.

@Late: OUR pwnie does tricks. And everyone should love him.
