Square Enix is back in black, according to recent reports, with Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Final Fantasy XIII-2 to thank for hauling the company back into profitability in the last financial year.

Deus Ex DLC Dated And Priced

The Missing Link No Longer MIA

Deus Ex fans, if you've run through every mission to absolute perfection, searched every nook and cranny for secrets and surprises, then you'll be pleased to hear the upcoming Human Revolutions DLC pack, The Missing Link, has a date and a price to go along with it. On October the 18th next week, you'll be able to pick it up off Xbox Live, the Playstation Network or off your computer for the choice sum of 1200 MS Points or simply £8.99.

Imprisoned on a Belltower boat on course for Singapore, Adam Jensen has been stripped of his equipment and powers but not his will and desire to escape. The Missing Link will add an additional five hours of story content wedged in-between the main game's narrative to supply some explanation for certain gaping plot-holes, and will feature all new tech upgrades with improved visuals, new weapons and an all new location to explore. We'll have more for you on The Missing Link very soon. [Twitter]

Deus Ex Human Revolution Ships Two Million Worldwide

Launching In Japan Next Month

Human Revolution is good. Like, really good. It's not just the wonderful science-fiction film noir aesthetic or the wonderful stealth mechanics; it's the little details like scanning emails for hidden details or tossing vending machines at hapless passersby. And don't get me wrong; it's success wasn't guaranteed. Rebooting a beloved classic is a tall order, but Square were up to the challenge. And it appears to have paid off, with the publisher announcing two million copies of the game have been shipped worldwide, with a Japanese release due next month.

It pretty much guarantees us more Deus Ex in the future, so what would you guys like to see in a sequel? More stealth? Or less, in favor or more action? I, for one, would like a little more money spent on the facial tech. I wasn't sure if everyone had been the unlucky recipient of an ugly-face augmentation, but it was always painful to be face to face with an NPC. Check out Jon's review for more on this cracking title.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Launch Trailer And Eyeborg Documentary

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is finally out over here in the UK and that means if you're reading this, you're not out there scrabbling to get a copy...which you probably should be. Two videos have emerged this week, one (obviously) is the launch trailer, but we've also rustled up a documentary which looks into the actual possibilities presented by theories of augmentation, entitled Deus Ex: The Eyeborg Documentary.

Here's our review to tell you why Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of the finest games you'll see this year. You should probably settle in for the Bank Holiday Weekend with Adam Jensen.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution

It's been a disappointing summer thus far for games, with all the big hitters either already out of the gates earlier in the year or waiting for the lucrative winter period. However, that's all set to change come next month when Square Enix finally unleash their Deus Ex reboot, Human Revolution. It's looking pretty fantastic, a heady mix of futuristic cyber-punk sci-fi, visceral gunplay and, of course, the series' patented stealth approach, which developers Eidos Montreal have detailed in the latest developer diary.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Square Enix have been going about marketing Deus Ex: Human Revolution absolutely splendidly. From the CG trailers that first introduced us to Adam Jensen to the large gameplay dumps we've seen peppering the Net. Now they've released a live-action propaganda trailer from the perspective of  'Purity First', an anti-augmentation group, that looks at the consequences of Mankind's dalliance with cybernetics. It's all very exciting, hits all of the right 'Big Bad Corporation' buttons, presents a scarily believable future and yet again confirms that this is game we cannot wait to get our hands on.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution launches on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on August 23rd.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Eidos Montreal have just released a new trailer for the hotly anticipated Deus Ex: Human Revolution that's stuffed with intrigue, conspiracy, suspicious corpses, bullet-vomiting mechs, more wall-smashing action and a bunch of other morsel besides. If for some utterly bizarre reason you aren't absolutely hungering for this game, then hit the jump and put this new trailer in your face. If you're already salivating over this one, well...you probably just skipped to the trailer in a feverish rush anyway. And no one would blame you.
