Hell Is But A Download Away
Blizzard have announced that the Diablo 3 beta client is now available to everyone with a Battle.net account, allowing access to the game over the weekend. This ends a long wait for many fans to get their hands on the anticipated title for the first time.
After the recent news of an error which allowed anyone download the (previously closed) beta client, Blizzard have now granted access anyone with a Battle.net account to join in from 8pm BST today until 6pm BST on Monday. The weekend is being used to stress test the servers of the game ahead of the release next month. All aspects of Diablo 3 up to level 13 will be available to players, including all five of the demon-slaying classes. Newcomers won’t be left out in the cold if they have yet to make a Battle.net account, simply create one and you will be able to download the client.
