Bethesda revealed recently that Dishonored, a first-person action game designed by some of the minds behind Half Life 2 and Deus Ex, would be coming to consoles and PC in 2012. Now, in the midst of the Gamescom madness, they have released a few screens of this "antithesis of an edge-of-your-seat roller-coaster ride".
Arkane Studios have promised a non-linear world packed with moral choices, alternative routes, and an organically adapting storyline, depending on the actions you take. The screens revealed give us a taste of the diverse world Arkane are crafting, with dusk smothered cities giving way to harsh, high-contrast interiors, lending an almost 'film noir' sense of grittiness.
We can't wait to see more of Dishonored, and Bethesda will no doubt be oiling up the hype machine and satisfying our eyeballs with much, much more over the coming months. We'll be sure to bring you anything on this promising title as soon as we get it.
