Disney Sing It! + 2 Mics £9.95 @ Shopto.net [PS3 Games]

Following on from my jaded and cynical High School Musical 3 deal post yesterday, hardware junkies out there might like to know that ShopTo are offering the original Disney Sing It! game along with two official SingStar-compatible microphones for just £9.95. With the nearest bundle price at £19.89 (Simply Games), you're getting a bunch of Disney's finest modern pop anthems for your karaoke pleasure and a couple of highly useful mics for a serious saving of about ten pounds.

A karaoke game for the Camp Rock generation, this particular bundle consists of over 35 songs plucked from the aforementioned Jonas Brothers movie and High School Musical, with artist contributions from Disney Channels stalwarts Hannah Montana, The Cheetah Girls, Miley Cyrus and Jordan Pruitt. You can click here to get a look at the full song list.

Admittedly the track list reads pretty much like a cross-section of the Jonas and Efron families' second-string songs, mixed in with Miley Cyrus' multiple personality disorder, but the gameplay is jacked straight out SingStar and the setlist is ably supported by the Playstation Network, and it needs to be as even Walt Disney himself would be hard pressed to call the setlist 'comprehensive' . You can customise and colour-code the menus to your preference, there's an eight-player multiplayer mode, and camera support so you can watch yourself while you sing. Don't expect to be able to record anything though, video or audio, making this game about as feature-packed as a castrato's underwear.

Again, the real draw here for me is the bundle: those two microphones are easily worth a tenner, and to be honest considering that most of the artists' hits are missing from this particular game you might just be better off buying SingStar, getting the two mics here, downloading what you want from the PSN and then pouring hydrochloric acid all over this shameless excuse for a cash-in. If there was video support for you to make your own pose-tastic karaoke gurnfest and commit it to film then it might be worth it, but there isn't. Do it for the hardware.
