The big news is Dragon Age 2 and Portal 2's DLC announcements today, but Civilization 5 is getting in on the act with no less than two DLC packs due next week. The 'Denmark Civilization and Scenario Pack' and 'Explorers Map Pack' drop on May 3rd, with the former bringing vikings to civilized shores, spearheaded by faction figurehead, Harold Bluetooth. It also includes the '1066: Year of the Viking Destiny' scenario, which pits you against three other factions vying for control of the British Isles.
The 'Explorers Map Pack', as you might expect, adds ten new maps to the single-player, with five based on real-world locations and five others on "scripted map environments", such as the Amazon and the Caribbean. They'll cost $4.99 or $7.49, depending on your geographic location. [Joystiq]
