A budget version of Doodle Jump designed specifically for the Kinect sensor will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade, Lima Sky announced today. This new version of the incredibly popular (and influential) app will set you back 400 Microsoft Points when it releases this summer. Screens and details after the break.
As you'd expect, Doodle Jump Kinect is all about using your entire body to control the Doodler's ascent; scurring left and right to move, shooting with hand gestures and flapping upwards by... flapping. In terms of new content, it will offer three brand-new worlds, extra bosses, achievements, power-ups and "intuitive gesture controls."
“We’ve brought the Doodler onto new platforms before, but never like this,” noted Igor Pusenjak, co-founder of Lima Sky. “The unparalleled freedom afforded by Kinect for Xbox 360 allows us to explore new gameplay experiences we never even imagined were possible when we first developed the original Doodle Jump.”
