Dragon Age II | £7.99 | GAME | PS3

You’ll be pardoned if you decided to skip this one until now, but for those wishing to indulge their curiosity GAME currently have the best price. A saving of over £6 separates the deal from the next cheapest retailer.

That said, let me state this bluntly; chances are you’ll only give it one play through due to the lack of variation in the content, and you’ll probably not be blown away by the storyline. However, the action is visually impressive and doing everything will clock up at least 40+ hours, which for less than a tenner is pretty good going these days. I would suggest checking out my review and Matt’s rant to help you decide. Thanks to Syzable @ HUKD!

Dragon Age II | £7.49 | Origin | PC

Rumour states that you could get hold of this one for even less in a few weeks’ time, but if you really want to get hold of Dragon Age II on the PC this is currently the best deal around. Along with a saving of £2.50 you will get access to the Black Emporium DLC, which offers players an additional shop vendor and special items.

However, some may question whether, even at this price, this title is worth the purchase. Let me state it bluntly; chances are you’ll only give it one play through due to the lack of variation in the content, and you’ll probably not be blown away by the storyline, but the action is visually impressive and doing everything will clock up at least 40+ hours, which for less than a tenner is pretty good going these days. Dragon Age II is a solid and enjoyable RPG in its own right, but its brutally cut corners and amorphous, hopeless storyline shook the faith of many BioWare fans. For £9.85, however, the PS3 version is probably worth a punt if you enjoyed Origins.

50% Off Dragon Age II & Crysis 2 | £7.49 each | Origin | PC

In a move to try and get the punters in to use their download client, EA have slashed 50% off their usual prices for Dragon Age II and Crysis 2. It means the offer on Origin will save you at least £1.50 on RPG sequel, and £2.50 on the FPS sequel. Please note that you will have to download and go into the Origin client to see and purchase the games at this price.

Is it worth the hassle and your bandwidth? Both titles aren’t the best examples in their genre (or their franchises arguably) but neither of them are bad games by any standard. For the asking price being asked for, it might be work a look at either game if you’ve skipped them so far. Thanks to shango @ HUKD!

Dragon Age II isn't BioWare's greatest game and chances are you'll either love it, or hate it. There's plenty of content to keep you coming back for more, plus the combat's satisfying and brilliantly bloody. Unfortunately though, the game's a little bit linear, so there might not be enough exploration on the cards for you. ShopTo are parting with Xbox 360 copies of the game for £15.85, which'll make you a saving of over £7 on the next best offers out there.

The price continues to crumble for this one with Play’s latest cut bring it down to the £15 mark, making this listing the cheapest by £7 compared the next best offers coming from Amazon, Game and Gameplay. However, some may question whether, even at this price, this title is worth the purchase. Let me state it bluntly: The combat is not as involving as Origins on consoles, you’ll probably not be blown away by the storyline, and chances are you’ll only give it one play through due to the lack of variation in the content. However, the action is visually impressive and doing everything will clock up at least 40+ hours, which for the price is pretty good going these days. Dragon Age II certainly isn't BioWare's best game and it's upset a fair few people. However, the combat can be pretty good fun and you'll get to spill a pint or two of your enemies' blood. Also, whilst there's a lot of content to keep you coming back for more, the game's a little bit linear, which means you don't get that much freedom. ShopTo are parting with PS3 copies of the game for £16.85, which'll save you over £3 on the next best offers out there.

This one's not the best entry on BioWare's resume, but you might still want to check it out, just bear in mind that it's disappointed quite a few people and it you want to know why then check out Matt's rant. The game should last you about 40 hours, during which you'll be treated to some great visuals and lots of bloody combat. You can grab a PC copy of the game from Amazon or Play for £9.99, which'll save you almost £3 on the next best offer coming in from WHSmith.
