After months of uncertainty, PS3 and PSP brawler Dragon's Crown has finally been confirmed for a European release courtesy of NIS America Europe.
Vanillaware's premium-priced hack & slasher features several unique classes, a varied roster of enemies, slick combat and lavish hand-drawn artwork; the latter of which has caused controversy over the last few months due to its female character designs. Artist George Kamitani contends that the exaggerated "assets" are designed to parody classic videogame box covers and fantasy pin-ups, but many pundits are less than convinced.
The proof will be in the pudding, though, which we suspect will taste thoroughly delicious. Dragon's Crown is slated to release next month Stateside, but has only been dated for "Autumn" in PAL territories. More as we hear it.
Of course, the PS3 and Vita being region free, there's nothing stopping you importing it.
