Drool Over Halo 4 Warthog In Forza 4

Now it's not often we report news pertaining to both Forza and Halo. Siblings though they might be, their genres don't often overlap. Until now, that is; because if you want an exclusive sneak peek at the warthog you'll be driving in Halo 4, it can only be found in Forza 4's Autovista mode. It's unclear how you'll unlock this feature - Microsoft allude to it being an easter-egg surprise for fans - but as you wander around the vehicle, examining its every bump, scratch and dent, Cortana will be narrating the experience. Much better than Jeremy Clarkson, then.

Sadly, you won't be driving the warthog around any of Forza 4's tracks. It's purely an Autovista car; which does mean you can sit in the front seat and rev the engine, though. A wonderful little treat for fans, then; not to mention a great tease for Halo nuts like ourselves here at Dealspwn. Check the link for a revealing screenshot of Halo 4's new warthog. Can we glean anything from 343's new game from this? [Wired]

If Halo 4's looks that good, we'll all be very happy.

Very much doubt Halo 4 will look that good, mate. That'll be Forza 4's Image Based Lighting tech

I wonder whether accessing the easter egg will have anything to do with the number "7" or "343"?

Anyone else a little perturbed by the almost cel-shaded look to the warthog, though? :3
