DuckTales Remastered Announced By Capcom At PAX East

There's been a whiff of Friday afternoon short tempers about today, but hopefully this last bit of news will send you into the weekend with a smile on your face.

Capcom announced during PAX East today that DuckTales will be returning.

DuckTales Remastered is a new title in development by WayForward, and will be hitting the PSN, XBLA, and the Wii U eShop this summer for $14.99 (1200 Microsoft Points), featuring hand-drawn sprites romping their way through a 3D world.

"We're literally pouring our heart and soul into this title," said Capcom's Rey Jimenez. "It's going to play just like you remember."

Disney have already put their voice actors to work, and a bunch of the original's 8-bit songs are being remastered for the new title. According to Polygon, "new elements include a tutorial; Scrooge's Money Bin, which you can jump into; and a museum."

Put this trailer in your faces, retro fans!

Duck Tales was great, I'd prefer to see a remastered Goof Troop though.

Love the tim schaefer quote in the trailer. :P

Hell, yes. I always remember the two Duck Tales games as solid, responsive platformers.:D

I've been saying this should happen for ages!

Original DuckTales on the Megadrive was one of the best platformers I ever played.

Hope they don't mess it up and that there is a PC version.
