Duke Nukem Forever DLC Has A Release Date

It'll Be Here Very Soon

You remember the Duke Nukem 'Hail to the Icons Parody Pack', right? Well, we've had to wait a little longer than usual for Forever DLC - not as long as the game itself, of course, although maybe that's the point? - but now Gearbox have stamped an official release date on the whole post-release content malarkey; October 11th. It'll cost just 800 Microsoft Points on the 360, and whatever $9.99 equates to in your global region on PC and PS3.

The 'Parody Pack' throws four new maps into the game, with a Call of Duty-satirizing war-zone, a 16-bit retro throwback and a colossal sandpit replete with bases built from kid's playthings. Furthermore, the pack also adds two new modes, Freeze Tag and Hot Potato, which are sure to delight Duke Nukem fans. We'll have more for you on the 'Parody Pack' closer to release. [Eurogamer]
