Oh, how we cried with joy when 3D Realms announced a new Duke Nukem game back in the early 2000s. How we wailed when we found out that it was a platformer. And how we celebrated when we found out that it was actually great fun.
You see, Duke started out as a platformer hero - and goes back to his roots with style, imaginative weapons and loads of content. Truly aggravating bosses and graphics that look truly appalling today will put many people off, but it's probably worth a punt at this price considering that Windows 7 compatibility has been guaranteed.
