EA Respond To GAME's Mass Effect 3 Failure, Collector's Edition Details Inbound

EA have released a statement responding to this morning's news that UK retailer GAME will no longer be able to fulfil orders of Mass Effect 3, and will be refunding pre-orders.

The Collector's Edition of the title, which had been a GAME exclusive, will now be shared by four other leading retailers, according to EA.

The Mass Effect 3 N7 Collector’s Edition will now be available at the following retailers:

  • Amazon.co.uk
  • Play.com
  • Zavvi.com
  • ShopTo.net

For customers who have pre-ordered the N7 Collector’s Edition please re-order your copies through these retailers.

For further information regarding the Mass Effect 3 Standard Edition with the N7 Warfare Gear in-game weapons pack, please check this page later today.

If you have placed a deposit for a pre-order or are uncertain that your existing pre-order will be guaranteed, please contact your local retailer.

Your local retailer is doing everything possible to make this process as smooth as possible to ensure you get your copy on launch day.

Mass Effect 3 will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC  from Friday 9th March 2012.

Glad I have access to sites like Twitter (and follow Dealspawn) that gave me the head's up on this situation. Had my pre-order for the collector's edition with game since the middle of last year. Would have been gutted if I found out about this too late to pre-order a copy elsewhere.
Game are dead to me.

Gamestop have already started their pre-orders for the Collector's Edition.

None of the listed stores have stock still? I preordered my CE copy in June 2011! Grrrrrrrrr

Very poorly handled by Game, waiting until this point to tell people. I missed out on the 360 version, so I'm switching to PS3 version. I've heard EA may be releasing extra stocks of the N7 edition but I won't be risking missing out completely.
