EA Roll Out January Transfer Window Update For FIFA 12 And FIFA Football

QPR fans rejoice! Bobby Zamora and Djibril Cisse are yours to dress in white and blue as EA Sports have released the January update that takes into account all of the changes that were made in the January transfer window.

This means that Manchester United now have their talismanic ginger ninja back, with Scholes sitting pretty on a nice rating of 81; Gary Cahill is firmly ensconced in the Chelsea backline; Darron Gibson is tucked into the centre of Everton's midfield. Karim Benzema has had a little stat increase, with Pepe and Coentrao seeing slight speed reduction.

There have been too many little tweaks and changes to go into right now, but there is one that catches the eye. Liverpool FC fans will be glad to know that no fewer than 6 players have been blessed with 5-star skill ratings: Gerrard, Adam, Henderson, Downing, Agger and the lumbering Carroll.

It would appear that there are quite a few Kop fans in the development team. Gerrard? Probably. Downing? Maybe at a stretch. The others are frankly laughable.

Speaking of Carroll, in the next game we'd also like to see a "pressure meter" that takes a "temperament" attribute into account when conducting big money transfers, and nerfs the stats accordingly.

Any changes that you've found that you think are pretty absurd? Let us know in the box below.

I don't think Adam getting his skill bar raising is laughable but the rest being buffed are ridiculous.

Downing 5 stars? ...out of how many exactly?

Big Andy will prove you all wrong with his silly skills on Sunday............

5. The only reason I gave him a maybe was because, even though I can't personally see it, every time he sets foot on a pitch the ITV/Sky commentators fall over themselves in praise.

Oh wait...I just realised what I said...."ITV/Sky"...and there's the answer.

I'm dead serious about the transfer-skill-nerfing system. Applicable to Torres too.

But what about the like of Zidane/Ronaldo who go for astronomical amounts but keep/improve their levels?

While Torres was here he was regarded as the best centre forward in the world. No one had any doubts about him settling in at Chelsea. Carroll was a panic buy from us. He is a decent player but not anywhere near a £35m man.

A stat like that would be near impossible to predict. Would you have pegged Torres with this temperament attribute before his move?
