Elder Scrolls Oblivion 5th Anniversary Edition Dated For Europe

It's the fifth anniversary of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion this year, and Bethesda have prepared a mighty fine treat for ardent fans looking to sample the sprawling delights of Cyrodill once again. The 5th Anniversary Edition comes packing the Game of the Year version of Oblivion, which featured DLC packs The Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine alongside the main game, a Making of Oblivion DVD and Cyrodill and Shivering Isles map, with a Skyrim video added for good measure.

And now, thanks Bethesda's European PR manager, Alistair Hatch, we have a European release date to look forward to. And it's closer than you think. September 23rd, where it will retail for £20 on the Xbox 360 and PS3 and £18 on the PC. With Skyrim just two months away now, it wouldn't be a bad call to verse yourself in Elder Scrolls once more. Ahh one of the first games I played on the 360. And one of the only games I got 1000/1000 achievement points for. But that was a CHORE - last half of the game I was playing on auto. Also I HATED the (immersion-destroying) auto-levelling. Awesome game though.

My very first quest glitched heh. I had to meet the quest-giver in a tavern to finish the quest but he wasn't there. I kept checking for the entire game but I never ever saw him again! *rolls eyes*

The Term: Flogging a Dead Horse springs to mind.
