I bet when the pianist composer Chopin died in 1849 he wasn’t expecting to become a lead character in a computer game, but that’s exactly what happened thanks to the developers at Tri-Crescendo and their title Eternal Sonata. Set during the final hours of Chopin’s life as he dreams of magical world, take control of the Romantic virtuoso as he helps a young boy save a girl from a terrible fate. It’s a fairly short and linear experience for a J-RPG but boasts a touching storyline, a fresh combat system and a soundtrack featuring music by the great man himself. This PS3 version also includes a few extra bits and pieces that did not come with the Xbox 360 release, making it a worthwhile budget buy. Thanks to Wong @ HUKD!
