Finalists Competing In Canada This August

Birmingham NEC played host to fierce Pokemon battles over the weekend as European players proved their skills in the videogame and TCG arenas. The winners, officially the best of the best on the continent, will be flown out to Canada in August to take part in the 2013 Pokémon Video World Championships; facing challenges from the U.S., Canada, Japan and Korea.

You could say that they want to be... the very best, like no-one ever was. Sorry. We've got the list of prospective world Pokemon Masters after the break, along with some pictures of the event.

For players who couldn’t make it to a live event, there is one more Pokémon International Challenge Wi-Fi Competition:

I wish I could meet those 3 mascots one day. Maybe one week during the summer of 2014
