Whilst F1 2011 is a slightly superior game, F1 2010's still bags of fun, and Play really aren't asking you for more than a bit of small change to get your hands on a copy. Tearing around World famous tracks at ridiculous speeds never gets old, just make sure you slow down into those corners otherwise your race'll end catastrophically, and working your way up from a small team to one of the larger ones is a pretty satisfying experience. The £3.99 price tag should save you about £3 on the next best offers out there. Thanks to grimboj2 @ HUKD.
F1 2010 was a true breakthrough hit for Codemasters. It won a BAFTA, recognition as the first F1-related UK chart-topper and numerous critical accolades for sporting excellence. The sequel is looking truly excellent from what I got to play at E3, but for the original, ShopTo are currently offering the cheapest price around.
The driving assists can make the experience as casual or ridiculously realistic as you like, along with all the thrills, spills and unrepentant geekiness that you’d expect from a simulation. Personally I’m not the kind of gamer who worries about downforce, tyre physics, dirty air mechanics or any of the crazy in-depth details (unless I’m tricking out a mech)... but it doesn't matter. Anyone with even a passing interest in fast cars should consider picking this one up.
