Got a PS Vita? Looking for a driving game to take on the run with you? If you've answered yes to both questions then you might want to think about picking up a Vita copy of F1 2011 from Zavvi for £19.95, which should make you a saving of almost £5 on the next best offers out there. OK, so the console version of this one's a little bit better, but that's not to say that this one's terrible in fact it's pretty good fun in small doses. Thanks to Parp @ HUKD.
Codemasters have delivered yet another awesome racing game in the form of F1 2011 that you should definitely pick up if you get the chance. The vehicle physics are outstanding, everything in this one looks great, and jumping into co-op's always a good option when you've got a couple of friends round and you're at a loss as to what to do. Play are parting with PS3 copies of the game for £17.99, which'll make you a saving of almost £3 on the next best offer coming in from ShopTo. Thanks to martyke @ HUKD.
F1 2011's been with us for a little while now and it's already delivering some pretty amazing high speed racing! It looks great, the physics governing the cars is outstanding, and this time around you get to jump into co-op with a friend. There are a few minor slip ups here and there, but nothing major that stops you from enjoying the game. The merchants listed above are parting with PC copies of the game for £17.99, which'll make you a saving of almost £5 on the next best offer coming in from Simply Games.
Determined to offer the cheapest price for F1 2011, ShopTo has lowered their already-impressive offering to less than £18. Considering that Codemasters' latest racer is shaping up to be the best F1 game ever, this is probably going to be a bit of a bargain.
Play.com is offering a similar price, but they're both leading the pack with an enormous split.
It's only a week or so until F1 2011 hits shop shelves across the country and if you want to grab a copy at a reasonable price, then why not pre-order a PC version of the game from ShopTo for £19.85, which'll save you £3 on the next best offer coming in from Simply Games. F1 2010 is one of the best racing simulators I've ever played and I honestly can't wait to see what Codemasters have done with this instalment of the series. Thanks to TidyWorks @ HUKD.
F1 2010 is one of the best racing games I've ever played, so I'm expecting great things from F1 2011 when it hits shop shelves in September. There are plenty of circuits, drivers, and teams to choose from, and once you do, you can take your car out for a spin on the track. Also, the multiplayer'll allow 16 players to compete at the same time, and if you fancy it you can throw in another 8 AI controlled drivers. The Hut are letting you pre-order Xbox 360 copies of the game for £32.85, which is £2 cheaper than the next best offer coming in from ShopTo.
Last Wednesday, Jon and Felix trekked across London to Codemasters' extravagant F1 2011 preview event. Last year's entry in the popular racing franchise was a tremendous success, winning awards left, right and center; so expectation is high for the follow-up. Codemasters had scattered demo booths running a not-yet-final version of the game across the spacious hall, including the handheld editions which Jon got to grips with.
We sat down with Paul Jeal, senior producer on F1 2011, to discuss following up last year's success, what the new gameplay features such as KERS and DRS mean for players, and whether the recent spate of racing developer closures has affected the team.Click here to read the interview...
