Fallout 4 on Xbox One / PS4 for under £30 is ridiculous deal

No, you read that price correctly. By using the voucher code above you can get a copy of Fallout 4 for under £30. The catch? It's being sold by an Australian retailer, and while they claim it will arrive "between Fri. 30 Oct. and Fri. 6 Nov." there's no guarantee that is accurate info. Still, if it all pans out you'll be getting one hell of a deal here. After an impressive display at this year's E3, I think it's safe to say that Fallout 4 is one of the most anticipated games of the year. A huge open world, improved interaction mechanics, a plethora of customisation options, and a dog are but a few of the reasons it will (most likely) be winning many an award by the year's end. Thanks to Buzz for the heads-up!

I have a dilemma.

I want this on PC but according to canirunit, my CPU us letting me down, but the ram, GPU and everything else is fine.

Not being terribly savy in these kinds of things, will the CPU negative vs positive stuff be game breaking??

My machine is a Clevo P170em 3610qm CPU, Nvidia 680M GPU and 8GB ram.

I guess I could always trial it on Steam, and if its broke, refund it, but any educated opinion would be welcomed.

[UNEDUCATED OPINION!]

Blimey. If your i7 doesn't meet min-spec it doesn't bode well for my i3!

I've taken my eye off the ball lately, and didn't realise they'd announced pc specs for the game. I'd always assumed my computer would probably be near min-spec, as it's not terribly powerful and I'm lead to believe the fallout games usually don't task pcs all that much.

Guess I'll be getting the xb1 version, then!

That said, my cpu was apparently not powerful enough for Arkham Knight on minimum spec, but ran the game fine (on low settings)...

Hopefully someone knowledgeable about such things will be able to advise you (and me) soon.

Thanks Late, that was helpful. I think its worth a punt.

If it works then I'll just ebay the Pipboy edition PS4 one I've ordered!

Fingers crossed for you, bud, but I think you'll be fine. ;)

I'm afraid my PC tech know-how isn't extensive enough for me to give you an answer, Jerec. That said, I think you might be able to get away with it if the graphics settings aren't set too high. I'll try and ask around to see if I can get a better answer for you though, as I'd rather you were sure!

Wicked.
