Stay a while and listen. Diablo III's Reaper Of Souls expansion and its massive free patches turned a directionless grind into a serious dungeon crawling contender - and this new content is finally going to be available on last-and-new-generation consoles this summer in a feature-packed package.
Blizzard has confirmed that the Ultimate Evil Edition will release on August 19th for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, with the facility to transfer your characters from the original console version and send gifts to friends (thus neatly sidestepping the rare trading restrictions on PC).
To be perfectly honest, I had a few issues with Diablo III's console debut, seeing as it took the final part of a trilogy out of its canon with little attempt to recap the previous games and led to some annoyingly unbalanced co-op. However, the new content and multiplayer-balancing apprentice mode ought to make this a definitive version, whether you splurge out silly money on PS4 and Xbox One or a more budget RRP on last-gen machines.
