New Feature “Chronicle” Launches For The Secret World

New System Tracks Characters Profiles

Building upon the success of their recent launch, developers Funcom have announced a new feature for their MMORPG The Secret World. Chronicle is an online tracking system that Funcom had been working on in secrecy for the last few months, and will help players track their own progress in both PvE and PvP aspects of the game.

In a post on the official website, Senior Producer Ragnar Tørnquist gave a quick summary of what the Chronicle website would provide for players.

Chronicle allows you to look up character profiles on the net and, crucially, to size your character up against other players, everywhere. You can compare base profiles, and you can look up your friends and fellow cabalists and members of your secret society on the leaderboards to see who's ahead in what.

While Tørnquist was quick to emphasize that the system is still currently in Beta, he did go on to state that this is just the beginning for Chronicle, with plans to integrate the system with the game  and onto mobile platforms in the future. You can read the announcement post on the official website, and you can check out Chronicle for yourself here.
