Fez Coming To Steam In May, Then "Pretty Much Everything" Else

"Working With Sony" On Vita Version

Now that Fez is no longer an XBLA exclusive, the gorgeous puzzle platformer will make the jump to PC as its first stop on a whirlwind tour of everything with a screen.

Apart from the 3DS.

Fez has been added to the Steam marketplace, with a release date of May 1st, but developer Phil Fish isn't content to stop there. Writing in a Reddit AMA, he explained that Fez is in the pipeline for Linux and Mac, and that both iOS and OUYA versions are "highly probable." He's also "working with Sony" to create a Vita version, but can't guarantee it, suggesting that they're in the negociation rather than development stage.

Sadly, the poor old 3DS probably won't get a look-in. “People keep assuming Fez would be a no-brainer on 3DS, but in truth it would be kind of pointless," Fish elaborated. "The game is practically always shown in isometric 3D, there’s never any perspective there. I don’t think it would work."

Matt awarded Fez 9/10 in our full review, and it's well-deserved.
