FIFA 12 To Be A "Revolution", First Screenshot Unearthed

You'd be forgiven for thinking EA might simply hash out the next FIFA, updating the team rosters and ironing out a few kinks. Because, in all honesty, I'm at a loss to see what EA can do that will truly define FIFA 12 as a full-fledged sequel? To my eyes, 11 was darn near perfect. However, EA isn't content with perfect, as they're promising the twelfth edition in the billion-dollar grossing franchise will be a "revolutionary year for FIFA, especially in the gameplay department".

We probably won't see much on these revolutionary new gameplay mechanics until E3 at the earliest, but in the meantime EA have tossed us a screenshot to pore over. It features former box-art star, Real Madrid's midfield maestro Kaka, in the midst of a typically surging run as he prods the ball forward, poised to charge on. It's not very revealing, nor exciting. We know FIFA 12 is going to look good.
