FIFA 14: Gamescom Trailer, Demo & New Details

Make It So

When you absolutely need to make your trailer sounds epic, you can't go far wrong by hiring Patrick Stewart. Before I get derailed by another awkward TNG reference, let's get on message by confirming that FIFA 14 will let you pick from numerous legendary players on Xbox One, the full list of which has now been locked down. This year's iteration will also include the ability to play seasons mode cooperatively and include the Brazilian national team.

Better yet, an Xbox 360 and PS3 demo will release next month.

We've got the brand new Gamescom trailer and details after the jump. Engage. [No. - Ed]

“Our fans will be able to bring stars from different eras together to create teams and combinations they have previously only dreamed about,” said David Rutter, Executive Producer of FIFA 14. “ For the first time ever, you will be able to play with Pele and Messi in the same lineup. It is going to create a unique experience within our most popular game mode.”

EA Sports also announced that Seasons is now playable online, supporting 2v2 ranked online play. You'll climb up to Division One, win a League Title and achieve greatness with a friend, which is a nice touch. In addition, Match Day has been expanded to Seasons and Co-op seasons, completely connecting fans playing online to the football season for the world’s top leagues, with injuries, suspensions, and player form changing throughout the season based on real-world events and performances.

A FIFA 14 demo will launch worldwide for the Xbox 360 and PC from September 10, and for European PS3s the following day. The game's out on September 27th.
