According to a round of previews from Japanese gaming mags, Final Fantasy X/X2's remastered HD edition will feature an extra 30 minutes of brand-new storytelling spliced into the ending and credits.
Shonen Jump, via Siliconera, reports that original writer Kazushige Nojima was drafted on to create the new content, which will run throughout the endgame and during the closing credits. This "drama sequence" will also include all-new voice acting.
"These games are classic fan-favorites," explains Final Fantasy producer Yoshinori Kitase, "and we hope that new and old Final Fantasy fans can experience the world of Spira and the story of Tidus and Yuna in a brand-new light with these remastered editions."
Final Fantasy X/X2 Remaster is slated to release this year on PS3 (one Blu-Ray disc) and Vita (sold separately).
