Ever wanted to attempt to wreck an Aston Martin DBS by flipping it through the air like James Bond without wincing quite so much at seeing such a magnificent looking vehicle being completely obliterated, or cruise around in the quite frankly beautiful car that is the Audi R8? Well now you can by picking up Forza Motorsport 3.
Amazon are parting with copies of the game on the Xbox 360 for £11.47, which is almost £2.50 cheaper than the next best price of £13.85 at ShopTo.
This is not only one of the best looking racing games you can get your hands on, it's also one of the biggest. There are 400 cars to choose from and the best thing is they're all unlocked from the start, although you'll have to earn the credits required to take them out for a spin. Every car has been replicated in amazing detail and they all have full damage modelling, which means you'll immediately see the effects of even the smallest collision or accidental nudge. You'll also be spoilt for choice when it comes to where you'll be burning rubber with your suped up super cars, as there are around about 100 tracks to take your pick from.
Unlike the majority of racing games that only allow you to make minor modifications to your vehicles, in Forza you have complete control over the areas of the car you want to upgrade. You'll also be able to purchase unique designs and custom paintwork to further personalise your rides.
The single player is thoroughly engrossing and the race schedules that it constructs are unique to each player. Another nice feature, that's particularly useful while you're still learning the ins and outs of the game, is the handy rewind function that allows you to skip back in 5-second intervals should you misjudge a corner or cause a catastrophic collision. If at any time you start to tire of the single player then you can hop online, where there's a whole host of multiplayer modes to take part in.
Forza 3'll have you tearing round the track for hours upon end and it's one of those games that you'll be proud to add to your collection.
