At this rate, Microsoft won't have anything left to announce at E3!
Following in the footsteps of several major pre-E3 reveals, IGN reports that Forza Horizon 2 is indeed in development and headed to Xbox consoles in Autumn. “[Turn 10 and Playground Games] share this belief that we can create a true home for racing fans on Xbox One,” gushed creative director Ralph Fulton, not mentioning that it's also apparently headed to Xbox 360 as well.
According to Playground Games, Forza Horizon 2 chooses Northern Europe as its open-world setting this time around, through which we'll race "hundreds" of cars fronted by the 2015 Lamborghini Huracán. A dynamic weather system will make its first-ever appearance in the series, alongside retooled Drivatar cloud ghosts that should hopefully behave better that Forza 5's rampaging goons did in launch week.
I daresay that Microsoft will make an official reveal shortly and show us more at E3 2014. It's only a week away now...
