FREE FALLOUT! GOG.com's Winter Sale Breaks The Internet

I love CD Projekt. I love them so much. They are a constant shining beacon of hope in this industry. And then, just when you think they couldn't get any better, they go and give away two of the best RPGs ever made and break their servers with their own awesomeness.

Can we give them a medal? Someone needs to give them a medal. Not a fake digital medal like IGN hand out to everyone at E3, but a three-storey-high shimmmering disc of precious metal.

GOG.com's winter sale has started, and the DRM-free download site are giving away Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics for absolutely nothing over the next couple of days. If you can get onto the site, that is.

Click here for free Fallout, but do be warned, those deals are damn tempting too. We bet that it's not the only thing you'll pick up.

I managed to rip myself away from the site with just the Fallout games, but my word they are superb freebies. I feel like I'm cheating if I don't buy something else.

Not sure about a three-storey-high one, but you should definitely get a gold (coloured) medal made for them!

Hmmm. Just tried to sign up for an account which failed. Now getting a 404 error. Will try again later...

Their servers are taking an absolute battering.

It worked this time. Almost completed the download now. I think I have the disks somewhere but its nice to have an easy to install/run copy!

Heroes. I really hope those pirates who suffer from "irrationally defensive self-righteousnous syndrome" when challenged as to why the steal VGM IPs go easy on them when W3 is released.
