Free Spec Ops: The Line DLC Announced For August

Some free DLC for Spec Ops: The Line will be arriving in August, 2K announced today.

This downloadable content will include four cooperative multiplayer maps, set in the ruins of Dubai prior to Captain Walker (the player character) and his team arriving at the start of the campaign. In contrast to a bog-standard horde mode, each map will contain its own unique missions, characters and hazards, forcing players to closely work together in order to secure their objectives in the face of withering enemy firepower.

2K aren't willing to talk specifics just yet, simply suggesting that the DLC will be available "approximately" some time in August. We'll keep an eye on it.

Matt will have a full Spec Ops: The Line review for you very soon. It's set to release this Friday.
