Last Friday, Matt reminded you that if Battlefield Facebook page received 1, 000, 000 'likes', DICE would drop the full length 'Fault Lines' trailer early over the weekend. Well shame on you, dear readers, as we could only manage 857,317 'likes' instead! As such, DICE retreated to their room, sobbing into their sleeves, only to return in triumphant fashion today with an epic, 12 minute-long Battlefield 3 trailer.

Embedded above, the 'Fault Lines' trailer is an uncut extension of all the teasers released thus far. And it's astounding. From the initial, atmospheric introduction, to the explosive, action-packed finale where an abrupt earthquake interrupts a vicious gunfight between soldiers and rebel insurgents, climaxing with a high-rise tower collapsing onto our hero. It's epic stuff, showcasing the new Frostbite engine's awesome visuals, destructible tech and - most impressive of all - the stunning animation, which imbues each and every soldier with a real sense of weight and life. Check it out.
