"Galactic Warfare" Mod Has Been Finalised!

If ever there was a mod that could get me to fork out a load of money to assemble a rig and switch to playing Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on the PC, rather than my Xbox, it'd be this one because it looks awesome! The premise is simple, it's Modern Warfare, only in a galaxy far far away!

This one's been under development for the last couple of years now and if you're familiar with the Star War universe then you'll probably get quite excited when you see all the familiar characters, weapons and locations. From the video you can clearly see stormtroopers, scout troopers and rebel soldiers, wielding weapons like tusken rifles and E-11 blaster rifles, whilst causing chaos in places like Bespin and Mos Eisly. Some of the set pieces are outstanding and I'm sure it'll be great fun to scrabble over the Millenium Falcon, or take cover behind a Sand Crawler to avoid a barrage of blaster fire. There are also new killstreaks in the game that'll let you unleash TIE bombers and Y-Wings on your enemies once you've started to rack up the kills!

There's no sign of any Jedi, or Sith Lords, on the battlefield at the moment, but I've got my fingers crossed that you'll be able to pick up a lightsaber, or maybe break out a force user as a killstreak reward at some point.

The mod has now been finalised and if you want to see what it looks like before getting hold of it, then take a look at the amazing trailer below. [Joystiq]

Great mod but First Strike is 100 of times better.
And all SW MODs can't replace SWBF3
