Game Buzz | Episode 42 - Subs and Sandwiches

This week on Game Buzz, Jon and I chat about Microsoft's latest u-turn, this time they've fixed headsetgate; we take a look at the Xbox One DVR announcement, and discuss the differences between Xbox LIVE Gold and Playstation Plus; then it's onto our weekly Nintendo facepalm segment -- "Please Understand" -- as we look at Iwata's rejection of a software-only future, talk about the recent Nintendo Direct and the Christmas release slate, and ask whether or not Nintendo can amass "Nintendo-like" profits before April 2014.

Then we start talking about sandwiches.

PS. If you're in London tomorrow with your 3DS, the folks from The Average Gamer are running a Streetpass event at Loading Bar in Soho from noon. We'll be there rubbing our handhelds on everyone, so do come and say hi. More details here.

Game Buzz | Episode 42 - Subs and Sandwiches. Recorded 9th August, 2013.

Re the potential "Microsoft master plan", I'll call the issue settled when they pull a u-turn and announce that silver subscribers will get 5 mins of DVR and gold subscribers will get 15 minutes... ;)

(I'm assuming an extension to the maximum record length would actually be possible, but I don't know. Seems to me it's probably entirely down to software, ram, and storage, so should be perfectly possible, but I'm not tech savvy.)
