Well, you can't accuse Game Freak of being unoriginal of late. The studio famed for giving the world Pokemon has finally revealed what the game behind last week's mysterious tease is...
...and it's a cross between solitaire and horse racing.
Titled Soriti Horse, the game wil see players split their tie between navigating a racetrack on horseback via the touchpad, and then playing a Solitaire-esque card game to strengthen the bond between rider and horse. Apparently, you'll be able to raise and develop your horse in a number of ways, and then transform them into QR codes to be traded with friends should you wish.
It sounds bonkers. And I like it!
Soriti Horse is Game Freak's first self published title -- HarmoKnight was published by Nintendo -- and the game is due out on the Japanese eShop on July 31st for ¥500 and I seriously hope it makes it over here.
