Game Night | Titanfall Beta - Mech It Rain
"It's time to TITAN-up... if you know what I'm sayin'..."

In this week's episode of Game Night, the Trio see what all the hype is about by diving into the beta for Titanfall. Expect parkour runs of varying degrees of success, exploding mechs and dropships, and a healthy serving of meat-based puns as they play through the various modes and maps on offer. Watch it all by hitting the jump.

This week's perspective: Carl as the worst Titanfall player ever.

In that last game you didn't call a single one until there was literally around 2 seconds of the round left. =))

TBH I'm not great in the Titans - I'm much happier free-running - so I tend to just call one and leave it on auto whenever the countdown's done (usually getting it to follow me until it's in a decent spot then putting it on guard mode). I assume it's generally doing more good than harm for my team while I'm leaving it to do it's thing.

Damn but I'm missing the game. I'm getting my fix by watching videos of people playing it, but as a substitute for my addiction it's already becoming less effective. I'm not sure how I'll make it until next month...

Thief better be damned good, and full of two week's of play, put it that way!

Why yes it is. ;) We may or may not have a bunch of stuff going live this afternoon.

Yes, stuff comes in bunches. I think.

Methinks I may pick this up at the right price :P

Just a tip for the video editor - I noticed there's a slight doubling effect between frames. I've seen it in a few videos of these lan party thingies. When I have this effect, I usually find the footage has been resampled for a different framerate, e.g. In Sony Vegas, my footage is at 30fps, but the project is at 60fps and tries to resample it, giving the same doubling effect. If I disable the resample option, everything looks frame perfect.

Hope this helps!
