Gears Of War 3 Deal Roundup

Gears Of War 3 is undoubtedly one of this year's hottest gaming properties, and it's set to hit UK shores this Tuesday as part of the holiday season vanguard. Naturally, we're all about finding you guys the cheapest ways of getting your hands on it... and there are a fair few ways of going about it.

If you're looking for a straightforward online deal, your best bet is still probably the £32.99 offer from Best Buy. We featured this deal the other day and it's still the cheapest price around.

However, there are a couple of other interesting options if you're willing to head on to the high street and take part in a little bartering.

  • HMV is willing to sell you Gears 3 for £1.99 if you trade in your copy of Dead Island. It's a big game, and I daresay that many of you still haven't completed Techland's grindy slaughterfest, but its divisive nature means that there are probably a fair few people willing to take advantage of this deal.
  • GAME is offering a similar deal that's more expensive but also more inclusive. They're willing to part with Gears 3 for £4.99 if you trade-in either Dead Island, Driver: San Francisco or Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. GAME will also sell you the Limited Edition Gears of War 3 320GB Xbox 360 for £99.99 when a 250GB Elite Xbox 360 is traded-in.

We can't wait to see what the Supermarkets make of Gears 3... and whether they'll be willing to break the £30 mark. We'll keep you posted, and be sure to let us know if you've found a better way of getting it for less!

Tesco deal is £28 when you buy with 2100 ms points or 3 month gold subscription unsure on the price on those but I'd assume it would echo the rrp for the game alone (£45)
