Gears of War: Judgement will drop in 2013 according to the first trailer for the game, streamed during Microsoft's E3 press conference today.
Gears of War: Judgement, under development by Bulletstorm developer People Can Fly, will be a prequel set 15 years before the events of the first game in the series.
The game will not feature Marcus Fenix, instead focusing on Baird and his Kilo Squad, who must “stand trial for transgression against the Coalition of Governments”, facing accusations of “desertion, cowardice, trespassing, theft of military tech and treason”.
There'll be class-based multiplayer, with COG forces choosing between soldier, scout, medic and engineer, with Locusts picking from the wretch, ticker, kantus, grenadier, bloodmount, mauler, serapede and corpse.
