The fact that a new Call Of Duty title will be hitting shelves this holiday season won't come as a surprise to anyone, but solid details have been extremely thin on the ground. Rumours point to a prequel starring Task Force 141's (legendarily heroic) Simon "Ghost" Riley - and voice actor Craig Fairbrass has confirmed that he's been working on a massive project that's set for an imminent reveal.
I did Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as Gaz and then I did Ghost in Modern Warfare 2, which has become one of the most iconic figures in the history of computer games, which is great. And I've just been out in LA doing something that's going to be announced in May... I've just been out there doing some bits and pieces and one of it's to do with... I can't say too much. - Craig Fairbrass to talkSPORT
Could this "something" be the next Call Of Duty? We reckon it probably is, and we'll keep our crosshairs trained on Activision's PR department. Considering that Activision's financial report goes live on May 9th, the announcement could be as soon as next week.
