There are a vast number of gems that never leave Japan, but sometimes, sometimes, we get lucky and a cracking RPG or quirky action title wriggles its way free and gets localised for us poor Westerns. It's taken seven years since it's initial PC Japanese release, but The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is finally coming to the PAL region, courtesy of Ghostlight.
The first part of the Sora no Kiseki trilogy developed by Nihon Falcom, Trails in the Sky released earlier this year in the US back in March to positive reviews, with American critics praising the dynamic combat system and compelling story.
As they did with Persona 3 Portable earlier this year, Ghostlight will be releasing Trails in the Sky as a Collector's Edition, exclusive to the PSP. Ghostlight's Ross Brierley gave a little hint at the game's length:
One thing’s for sure, it’s a BIG game! So, for those of you who like to keep track of these things, my completed save time was 54 hours 30 minutes and 29 seconds, but there were several areas I managed to miss in my first play through. - Ross Brierley, Ghostlight
