At A Glance: Roundup 16th-29th December 2013

Our roundup of the last two weeks is largely dominated by our Game of the Year awards where we pick out the best in multiple genres and formats. There are also individual staff picks for our favourite games, moments and disappointments of 2013, along with some games we're looking forwards to the most in 2014. Not to leave you guys out in the cold, to follow up our previous Games of the Generation pieces, we had you vote for your favourite games for your very own Top 100.

Elsewhere in the features, Carl has more details and playthrough videos for WildStar and the Hearthstone Beta, Matt tells us why he's still not ready to buy a Wii U. Jon gets some early access to the promising Dungeon of the Endless and gives us some video impressions. I rounded off the week by looking at the ever-depressing matter of digital console game prices with a feature entitled 'Consoles Doomed to Pay High digital Prices Forever?'

Our reviews section is a bit slim as you'd expect at this time of the year, but the two games are both must-have purchases as Jon reviews Bravely Default on the 3DS and I go on holiday to the Caribbean with Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag on the PS4. Enjoy all the links below and Happy New Year from all of us at Dealspwn.com.
