At A Glance: Roundup 24th - 30th November 2014

Black Friday has been smashing us with hot deals all week and the prices continue to chip away at our Christmas shopping budgets. Be sure to keep up to date with all our deal posts here. As busy as we have been hunting down the best prices for you, we've got plenty of features and reviews for you too. Our comment pieces examine the new Early Access guidelines on Steam, give some early impressions on the dubious existence of PlayStation TV, ask what's going on with Halo: MCC's continued woes and discuss Ubisoft's decision to hold back review copies of The Crew until release day.

Elsewhere, we pick five failing franchises that could do with a break, and in entirely unrelated news (ahem), discuss Ubisoft's decision to give AC: Unity Season Pass holders free games. Our weekly GameBuzz podcast involves lots of chatter on the hot mess that is Black Friday and because this is the internet, we had to talk about the new Star Wars trailer. Finishing up the week there's my roundup of all of next week's releases - all two of them.

And you thought we'd be running out of games to review this week? Not so, we've been hammering away at the likes of LittleBigPlanet 3, Rocksmith 2014 and Ultimate NES Remix. Naturally, we (Jon) has keenly covered the adventurously-titled releases including Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, Arcana Hearts 3: Love Max!!! and Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd. I think I'm going to move to Japan and release a game called Dave's Quest. That'll show 'em how it's done. Right, I haven't bought a game in about three hours, so I better get back to it.
